About Me
I was employed at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Fcfcoa) in Court Child Services (CCE) from 2009 as a Family Consultant (FC) /Court Child Expert (CCE), until July 2022.
I have thirteen years experience and extensive knowledge of children’s development with solid and demonstrated experience in interviews and assessments of children and their parents where separation has occurred.
I have prepared a significant number of complex family reports and s11f memorandums and Child Impact Reports whilst employed in Court Child Services. During 2021, I also participated in alternative dispute resolution conferences. Before employment at the Court, I worked therapeutically with children, adolescents and their families.
Separation can often be stressful for everyone involved, especially children as they navigate and adapt to the changes in their family. I am available to discuss and accept referrals for a number of requests.
My Services
Family Reports
A Family Report is ordered by the Court. It includes interviews/assessments of children and their parents and usually observations of children with their parents. The family report assists the Court in making decisions about the children and parenting arrangements for the future.
Short Form Reports
A short form report is an early intervention report to address the needs of the children and consider a range of issues related to the children.
Reportable Counselling
Reportable Counselling also known as family therapy is goal-directed therapy for parents and children to address the breakdown of the relationship between a child and one or other of their parents.
